The Mindful Healers Podcast with Dr. Jessie Mahoney and Dr. Ni-Cheng Liang

Apr 4, 2021

Allowing yourself to shine is a gift -to yourself and others.

We hope this episode inspires those of you who may be “staying small” to show up more fully and bloom.

“you too have come into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled with light, and to shine.”- Mary Oliver

We share how there is strength in choosing to bloom, right where you are and that leaning into vulnerability helps you grow, shine, and own your strengths, weakness, uniqueness, and your story exactly as they are.   When we each choose to shine or bloom- even though it is hard and often uncomfortable-- the world is ultimately a more beautiful shiny place

“There came a time when it was more painful to stay tight in a bud than to blossom”

Blossoming is magnanimous- it not only helps you but the world.  A tight flower does not benefit itself or the world as much as when it blooms.

Shining or blooming proudly is not selfish, cocky, or egotistical.  It is a gift to yourself and the world.

We hope this episode inspires you to not work in the dark anymore and to allow yourself to be seen and heard fully even if it is uncomfortable.

“There is no better representation of beauty than being not afraid to be who you are”- Emma Ston

“You would be surprised who is watching your journey and being inspired - don’t quit. “- unknown
